The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.

My Approach

Many people come to therapy because they are struggling with anxiety, overwhelm, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties or a general sense that something doesn't feel quite right.

Often they have spent years trying to understand why they think, feel or react the way they do. They may have read books, listened to podcasts or talked things through with friends, yet still find themselves repeating the same patterns.

This is because lasting emotional change requires more than insight alone.

Our thoughts, emotions, behaviours and physical responses are deeply interconnected. When we experience stress, loss, difficult relationships or challenging life experiences, the impact is often felt not only emotionally but within the nervous system and the body too.

My approach combines psychotherapy with an understanding of emotional healing, nervous system regulation and mind-body wellbeing. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I help clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves, build emotional resilience and create meaningful, lasting change.

Every person is unique, which is why I tailor therapy to your individual needs rather than working from a single model or technique.  Sessions are collaborative, supportive and paced according to your needs, providing a safe space to explore challenges, build self-awareness and create meaningful change.

Emotional Healing

Many of the difficulties we experience in adulthood can be linked to unresolved emotional experiences, limiting beliefs, relationship patterns or ways of coping that were developed earlier in life.

Emotional healing is not about fixing what is wrong with you. It is about understanding yourself more deeply, processing difficult experiences, developing self-awareness and creating new ways of relating to yourself and others.

As therapy progresses, many clients find they become less self-critical, more emotionally balanced and better able to navigate life's challenges with confidence and clarity.

Nervous System Regulation

When we live with prolonged stress, anxiety or emotional overwhelm, the nervous system can become stuck in patterns of survival and protection.

This may show up as overthinking, people-pleasing, emotional reactivity, difficulty relaxing, constant busyness, feeling disconnected from yourself or a sense of always being on edge.

Understanding how your nervous system responds to stress can be a powerful part of the healing process.

Together we explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, behaviours and physical responses, helping you develop greater awareness, regulation and resilience. Over time, this can support a deeper sense of calm, safety and wellbeing.

A Mind-Body Approach

While talking therapy forms the foundation of my work, I believe emotional wellbeing is influenced by the relationship between mind, body and emotions.

Depending on your individual needs, I may integrate approaches that support awareness, emotional processing, relaxation and personal growth.

My work is informed by psychotherapy, mindfulness, clinical hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), NLP, Reiki and other holistic approaches. These are not used as separate therapies to be selected from a menu, but as part of an integrated approach tailored to you.

The focus is always on what will best support your healing, growth and wellbeing.

Therapy as a Process of Growth

Many people begin therapy seeking relief from a particular problem. Often they discover something more valuable along the way.

Therapy can become an opportunity to understand yourself more deeply, strengthen your relationship with yourself, improve emotional wellbeing and develop the confidence to live more authentically.

My aim is not simply to help you cope with difficulties, but to support lasting change that enhances your overall quality of life.
